AAAAAAGH!

School is ...

So far, looks good (I think). It's been a long week, but I am still managing to stay on top of things. Fortunately I can read at work when things are slow.

Rest assured, this is my last summer semester with a math class. I'm managing to keep up with this class and my computer class, but the compressed math class is killing me. Ugh!

Summer College

Hi everybody : )

Just an FYI, posting will be even sparser (is that a word?? I suppose so, since I just used it.) as school has just started for the summer. I am taking College Algebra, Developmental Psychology, and Introduction to Microcomputing.

Two serious classes and one fluff.

The introductions for the microcomputing class are already making me cringe, and glad that this is not an actual classroom class. (This is the very basic beginners class for Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access. I am required to take it for my major, and there is no equivalency test, so I am stuck. I have been using Word and Excel for years, and while I have not used PowerPoint in several years I am still quite familiar with it. I am looking forward to the information on Access. ) The class member introductions go something like this "Hi, My name is ...., I am (married, not married, serious relationship, etc.) ... I am just sooooooo excited about learning all this stuff .... blah blah blah.

Now, not to sound mean, but my experience is that people who are soooooo excited about all this stuff spend all their time nit picking irrelevant little details while I am sitting in the back resisting the urge to leap across the aisles and strangle them in frustration.

I know that sounds mean, sorry.

Ah well ...

Update - well, it looks like I am the only non-medical-professional taking my Developmental Psychology class. Everyone is going into Nursing.
