Wow, the time has passed

Where has the time gone ...

Today's blockbuster news ...

Hello again!

Another week has passed, and I hope you are all doing well.

I'm managing to keep on top of school and work. I mostly have my face back again (had a bout of Bell's Palsy beginning in December) and I am feeling pretty good.

School is interesting, I have yet to purchase the book for my Music Appreciation class and so far I have an A. I am tempted to see how long I can go without it, but will likely get it picked up this week. I have done quite well in my basic general education classes and would like to keep it that way.

So far this semester:
Music Appreciation: A (waiting on grades for two submitted items)
Visual Basic: A (all submitted items graded)
Web Page Applications: A (waiting on grades for one submitted item)

Woo Hoo!

Bras ... again

My original post may be referenced HERE.

I have had a number of people drop by my site looking for bra information because of my original post from 2006. Apparently it is still high on the search engine results.

I found out something great for the large, yet not quite ridiculous, ladies out there. If you want to shop off the rack, I know that Lane Bryants Cacique bras have started being availabe in the larger cup sizes (up to an H with some models)in the stores.

Keep in mind that different bras will fit differently (I have had some bras that were supposedly in my size not fit at all).

Good Luck and any bra news is welcome!

We busty chicks gotta stick together.

Yeah Danielle!

My sister-in-law Danielle found the track I was looking for, By The Waters of Babylon by Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrini. It's a good quaility copy.

Apparently I needed to look for it by "Super flumina Babylonis"

Here is the LINK.

Music Appreciation 1030

Giovanni Pierluigi de Palestrina

I listened to a piece of music written by this composer entitled "By the Waters of Babylon". It was written after the death of his first wife. It is incredibly beautiful and sorrowful.

Unfortunately I am unable to find a decent recording of it online. What I listened to as part of class was a portion of an NPR recording that had to have been from the late seventies or early eights as the quality was incredibly poor. I will have to find it on CD.

A new semester

Finished enrollment for this semester, and I am taking ...

Visual Basic programing (again-another casualty of last spring)
Music appreciation (a humanities requirement)
Web Design - this is a more advanced class than my earlier one, I will be learning about Frontpage, Flash, and Fireworks.

It looks like it will be an interesting semester.

Gunner is taking 4 classes this semester

Professional Communications - this is the last upper level English course availabe thru RODP and he needed one more
UNIV - this is a final project for his degree
Foreign Service - a history of the foreign service
I've forgotten the other class (will post it later)

If all goes well, Gunner will graduate in May. He should begin his Masters work this fall. Whee!

By the way, my cold is better, and so is my face. :)

Ugh

I hab a cold.

Merry Christmas

I have had a really nice Christmas this year.

I got to see everyone, both of my youngest sisters as well as my brother were able to come home for the holiday. All of the kids are growing so quickly.

It's one in the morning on (now) Sunday, so I will write more later.

It was really nice to see everyone.

Woo Hoo!

I have a B in my math class! Whee, just got done with my final and figured my score. Definately a B.

I also have a B in my sociology class.

I just have to wait on my Microsoft Office class. I'm probably going to get a C in that class. It just boggles my poor mind. I work with it everyday and that is the best I can pull. It's just silly.
